The Life of a Painting II

Here is another intuitive painting I made.  I painted over a landscape that didn’t work out for me and thought I would try something different.  I really enjoyed the process in stage 1 on the left, but then lost the plot with it.  This is what I have now:

The only original bit is the little leaf in the middle.  While posting this, I can see something else I could have done in Stage 2.  My lesson about that is to wait and prop up the painting while I work out what to do next.  Not sure what else I can do with this.  Hey ho, that is the way it goes sometimes.
