Here is my latest drippy, finger painting. Wanting to try something different, I used texture paste on the canvas board and then made an imprint with a silicone template for cake making. I think it is used to make a decorative design with icing. I tried it with the gesso last time, but it was too subtle. You should be able to see the impression of roses on this painting. After the texture paste dried, I painted a layer of gesso over it. My background layer is a couple of coats of purple iridescent paint. Then I used all of the blues in my stash. I used ink for the leaves and extra drips.
I think that this will be the last drippy flower painting I will be making for awhile. This item is for sale in my Etsy shop and can be found here.
